Ceremony Masters Ltd.

Business Information:

Short description of your business:

I do ceremonies:  Weddings and funerals, of course.  Also elopements, commitments, vow renewals, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, inurnments, interments, scatterings, committals, pet memorials, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, dedications, grand openings, promotions, mortgage burnings, births, inaugurations, banquets, receptions, conferences, birthdays, blessings, invocations, benedictions, christenings, oaths, swearings, decommissionings, memorials, life celebrations and roasts (living and posthumous).

Wendy does affordable party supply rentals (linens, tableware, serving equipment, lighted arches, columns and her signature “Sweet Buffet Lady” candy buffet) for the DIY bride.

How many employees are there?

Wendy and me (with occasional help from the family)

When was your business established?

Formalized in June 2011 (but been doing the work since 1976)

Who is your ideal customer?

My ideal customer is marking a milestone like a wedding, loss, or other major life or business event.  Wendy’s ideal customer is the budget-minded bride.

What is unique about your business that you feel distinguishes you among others offering similar products or services?

I offer the experience of my having spoken to over 7000 audiences ranging from just a handful to well over 3000 attendance.  No cookie cutter ceremonies here, but positive and personalized events.  In the human experience, when we don’t know what to do or say, we hold a ceremony.  We are ceremony masters, and your ceremony will be memorable.

Tell us something that would surprise people about your business:

A good master of ceremonies is not the star of your event; they make YOU the star.
